Mount Vesuvius, Italy
The name of this wine is entwined with biblical history. According to the legend, God cried when he found a corner of Heaven stolen by Lucifer: where his tears fell, there grew the grapes that make Lacryma Christi, which translates as "tears of Christ." Made from 100% Coda di Volpe grown in volcanic soil, this wine is treated in stainless steel to preserve its unique profile. Straw-yellow in color, this wine contains hints of pineapple, white peach and licorice. On the palate, this is a well-structured wine, with perfect interplay between mineral and stone fruit flavors. Versatile and adaptable to a wide range of dishes, this wine is ideal with antipasto starters, seafood risottos and pastas, and grilled fish.
