La Mancha, Spain
An attractive ripe cherry color, of medium intensity, brilliant and clear, with violet touches around the edge indicating youth. The aromas are of fresh fruits, cranberries, blackberries and fresh strawberries. On the palate the wine is of a medium weight with subtle hints of licorice. Soft and round on the palate, the wine has the light grip of well-ripened tannins. Full- bodied and with a long-lasting aftertaste. Central Spain, south of Madrid, 2,000 Ft on an elevated plateau. 100% Tempranillo (organically grown); un-oaked.
