Haro, Rioja, Spain
From one of the top producers of wine in Rioja, light in color with delicate perfumes, and, sadly, a style that is quickly falling out of favor with many wine drinkers. The sweet, ripe, medium ruby/garnet-colored 2010 Reserva exhibits rich, earthy, mushroom, black cherry, plum, cedar, and spice box aromas reminiscent of a fine Graves from Bordeaux. The aromatic characteristics continue on the palate in this medium-bodied, crisp, fully mature Spanish red. It should last for another 4-5 years.
